Some Helpful Hints
- If you are not to high level, ride a dragon, run will go much quicker this way.
- If Dragon is to expensive, wear a crimson iron ring of regeneration,
this will help to keep your movement rate up.- Stay invisible, wont have to waste time with low level mobs.
- Try to get you some stamina eq. to help speed you along your way.
- Try to get some saveing spell equipment. Nothing worse than being blinded by a banalar and a sitting duck till it wears off.
- covered wagons take up 2 rooms, so if you run into to tuff a mob and have to flee, go one room over, pick up your wagon, and continue.
- Bad Dragons... well, I wear 2 crimson Iron rings and a pair of mountain climbing boots (+10 to stamina) with my movement rate about 350, Been outrunning every dragon that comes after me since, or you can try and wait in out in link. :)
Warriors
- Same as warriors with a few extras
- A good trap might slow down a pursuing mob
Thiefs
- Same as warrior with a few extras
- Shield room should come in handy to slow down a pursueing mob, or for a needed rest
- If death looks unavoidable, teleport and recouperate
Wizards
- once you reach high enough level, cast quickness on yourself
you will be able to move as fast as a dragon. Galvin does :)- Keep sanctuary cast on yourself
- Wear some mana regen eq to keep your mana up
Clerics
- Most importantly... Do you research before starting any trade run. Spend the time and money to fly to some diff trading post and check prices. I have seen to many players spend two hours doing and a run from rangers to trellor (etc) to make the same cash I did in 30 minutes going Rangers to New Ashton.
- Consider the risk and time vs. money to be made. There are mutant forest aboninations and phantoms and such around Trellor and Gdahngus. If you cant beat these, you may spend more time dying than you do tradeing. In other words, once figuring in the time it takes you to do one of these runs, you may have been able to do a couple of shorter runs (with less difficult mobs encountered) amounting in the same cash.
- I also put the names you will use to fly dragon to for trading post. Some are the same, a few are different.
- New Genesia = Dark Army Trading Post
- Trilanisti = Elven Market
- Wizard's Grove = Wizard's Cart
- Must fly manually to Rangers Cabin, it is south east of Medievia
- Urville Feeding hall is located inside the Temple of Thanos and visible from the outside. As it is in the middle of a swamp, it is only accesible by mule. Pack horses cannot make it, they stop at the beginning of the swamp. There or no items sold there, just mules, horses, and wagons (big help as only the mules can get out) Freight should be abandoned at The road near the temple and a mule bought at urville to ferry it.
